Explore The Roar

"The Niagara Falls" are voluminous waterfalls on the Niagara River, straddling the international border between the Canada and the U.S. The beautiful sights of nature's own masterpiece carved into the landscape by wind, ice and water over 12,000 years along the 7 miles of the Niagara River Gorge.
It was beautiful cloudy day, sun peeking from the sky through clouds. There was high plume of mist in the air hanging over the falls. I could hear the deep roar of the falls from the parking. When i started walking towards falls, roar was much louder. The cold breeze mixed with mist tingling my face and Sea gulls walking with me

Now i was experiencing the awesome sight the Horseshoe Falls and the Bridal Veil Falls. 100,000 cubic feet of water per second rush over the edge of the Falls as waters from the Upper Great Lakes Basin empties over the 170 foot high precipice. Walking along side the falls i don't know when i reached the cruise station

I can't resist the temptation of going into Maid of the Mist( leisure boat that takes you into the falls)any more. I was in the next cruise now. As our boat cruised to the base of the Bridal Veil Falls, then to the basin of the commanding Horseshoe falls I found my heart is racing as i experience the absolute exhilaration of confronting millions of gallons of water crashing like thunder into the rocks nearby and hear the incessant roaring of Niagara.

It was afternoon well spent wished i could hang there for night to experience beauty and grandeur of the Falls. It is the timeless rumbling of the falls. You don't only look at it but listen to it as well. It's music to the ears.
